Quote owner/contact from unrelated company is visible on quote and shows incorrect role in Halo

Overview

A quote is displaying a quote owner/contact that belongs to a different company than the quote’s customer account. This causes the wrong person/company association to appear on the quote and can expose users who should not be visible there.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a quote sent out by a customer.

2. Review the quote owner shown on the left side of the quote.

3. Open the linked contact record and verify the associated company.

4. Compare the company/contact relationship shown on the quote with the contact’s actual company in Halo.

5. Check the role displayed in Halo for the contact/agent and compare it with the role shown on the quote.

Acceptance Criteria

• The quote should only display contacts/owners that belong to the same company as the quote/customer account.

• Contacts from unrelated companies must not be visible or selectable on the quote.

• The role shown on the quote must match the role stored in Halo.

• If a contact is linked to a different company, the system should prevent the association or clearly flag it as invalid.

• Verify that the quote owner/contact display is consistent across the quote UI and Halo records.
