We would like to request an enhancement to the Product Pricing section by adding an additional numeric field between Unit and Term.
The current pricing model allows us to define:
Price
RRP
Unit (e.g. device, user, mailbox)
Term (e.g. one-time, week, month, quarter, year)
This works well for single-unit, single-term products, but it is difficult to accurately represent products that cover multiple units or multiple terms.
Add a numeric field (for example Quantity, Multiplier, or Period Count) between Unit and Term.
Example:
This would be interpreted as:
β¬299 per device per 3 years
Other examples:
Supports multi-year licensing, subscriptions, warranties, and support contracts.
Supports pricing based on multiple users, devices, mailboxes, or other units without requiring product duplication.
Maintains backward compatibility by defaulting the new field to 1.
Provides greater flexibility without requiring additional values such as "3 years", "5 years", etc. in the Term dropdown.
We believe this small addition would significantly improve the flexibility of the pricing model and better support common MSP, software licensing, and subscription-based products.
