Company tax settings: Autotask Tax Region and ConnectWise tax rate

Salesbuildr does not currently show the company-level tax configuration that your PSA uses for quoting, and the gap runs in two directions.

Autotask — there is no Tax Region field on the company record. When a new client is created in Salesbuildr, Autotask applies its own default region, which may not match the client's actual province or state.

ConnectWise — a tax rate configured on the company in ConnectWise is not imported into Salesbuildr, so the tenant default rate is shown instead.

What is planned. A company will show the tax configuration its PSA uses for quoting. On Autotask you will be able to choose the Tax Region while the client is being created; after that Autotask stays the source of truth and the field is read-only in Salesbuildr. On ConnectWise the configured rate will be imported and displayed. Salesbuildr will not overwrite a tax value you have set in your PSA.

HaloPSA is not affected — Halo resolves tax from the product rather than from a region on the client.

In the meantime: setting the correct Tax Region directly on the account in Autotask works, and Salesbuildr will not overwrite it. Quotes pick up the corrected region from that point on.
