Approvals by Quote Template

It would be great if we could apply approvals based on the template we use. We use Salesbuildr for sending contracts to clients but need to have manager approval. Since there is no internal signatures available to use the next step is manager approval. We are making do using opportunity categories, but those can be missed and so it would be helpful if we could create a rule that turns approvals on based on the template type used.
