ConnectWise and HaloPSA: set product type and procurement defaults per subcategory

What we're building

Admins can set two defaults on each product subcategory:

• ConnectWise Product Type (ConnectWise only). New products in that subcategory get this type when they are first created in ConnectWise, instead of always the tenant default.
• "Does not require procurement". This is pre-filled on every new product in that subcategory, including products created from the quick-create dialog, Pax8, Marketplace and CSV import. The toggle is now also visible in quick-create. In ConnectWise it decides Inventory vs Non-Inventory; in HaloPSA it decides whether items are marked consignable.

Both are optional. Leave them empty and nothing changes.

Good to know

• ConnectWise only accepts Product Type and Class when a product is first created. The defaults apply to new products, not to products that already exist in ConnectWise. Other quoting tools have the same ConnectWise limit.
• For products that are already wrong in ConnectWise, the workaround stays the same: deactivate the item in ConnectWise, ask support to clear the link, and sync again. We are checking whether Product Type can be changed afterwards.
• We chose category defaults over a dropdown on every product. One setting covers every way a product gets created, and it's how comparable tools handle it.
• Autotask: no change.
