Contract term mandatory on quotes with recurring services

One issue that's been highlighted is the possibility that a salesperson may forget to add a contract term to a quote which includes recurring services. To alleviate this, could a feature be added to enforce payment terms on quotes which include recurring services?

Additionally, the contract term setting seems buried. Could it be placed more obviously on the quote edit screen?
