Easier sorting of products within a category

If I go to Products > Categories, and click the link to the actual products (the number of products) I can sort using the "Manage sorting" button. However, this requires me to search for each product, add it, and sort them. It would be much easier if it automatically showed all products within that sub-category and allowed me to sort with drag and drop.
