We regularly identify long-term sales opportunities for which a quotation cannot be made immediately. For example, consider a VoIP telephony subscription that will not expire for another year.
For long-term sales opportunities, we create an opportunity in SalesBuildr, but the only status you can indicate is 'Active' when the actual status must be 'Not ready to buy'.
However the opportunity status is mentioned everywhere, but strangely enough you cannot adjust it in SalesBuildr. It only works within AutoTask, where you can adjust the opportunity status (see screenshot), and this automatically synchronized with SalesBuildr. Filtering by opportunity status in SalesBuildr also works.
If you could automatically change the status of opportunities from 'Not ready to buy' to 'Active' on a scheduled date, that would be the ultimate!
