Option to hide/show internal notes field on quotes

I would like to request the ability to hide or show the internal notes field on quotes. Currently, there is no setting to remove or hide this box from the quote editor view, and a previous feature request for this was canceled. I would like this feature to be reconsidered as it would be very useful for managing the interface.
