Set the preferred distributor on category level

We want to automate our prices as much as possible and it would help if we could also set the preferred distributor per category. Now you can only set the preferred distributor in admin for all products or for one specific product, but not for a category.

For example, we cannot now automatically set up that we purchase all printers from distributor A as standard and use their prices. And for example all laptops at distributor B.
