Products synced from the PSA can arrive with an explicit cost and price already set, which overrides PSA and distributor pricing. Customers often don't notice this until a quote is approved and the order has already been pushed to the PSA, resulting in incorrect margins or pricing on orders. We're proposing a visual flag on the product record and on quote line items whenever cost or price is explicitly set rather than inherited from sync. This gives customers a way to catch and correct these values before approval instead of after the order has gone through. The current safeguard is a one-time onboarding instruction to clear explicit values, but this doesn't scale since new products continue to sync in over time.
