Description:
When a quote total exceeds €10.000 (excl. VAT), salespersons currently have no visual indication that specific fiscal rules may apply, such as the Dutch VAT reverse charge regulation (verleggingsregeling) for certain hardware. There is no way in the current templating engine to conditionally show content based on a numeric threshold, so this cannot be solved with existing quote template logic.
The request is to add a configurable threshold-based notification at the quote level. When the quote total exceeds a defined amount (e.g. €10.000), a visible warning is shown to the salesperson inside Salesbuildr, alerting them to review any applicable fiscal or compliance requirements before sending the quote.
Use case:
Under Dutch law, hardware purchases above €10.000 excl. VAT may be subject to mandatory VAT reversal. The salesperson needs to be aware of this at quote time so they can take the appropriate steps, even though the actual tax handling happens downstream in Autotask and Exact Online.
Proposed behavior:
A configurable warning threshold at account or quote template level. When the quote total exceeds this threshold, a notification or visual indicator is shown to the salesperson inside the quote editor.
