Widget right management?

We're considering building widgets with somewhat 'delicate' information, (resumes of technicians and experts) which only a few people should be allowed to edit and/or place these widgets in quotes… It's not extremely delicate info, but still delicate enough to -right now- still (rarely) use word for these kind of documents… So imagine there's a 'lock' button on widgets, to say "limit use to … -enter specific users-" It's just an idea.
